And they say boys are harder to potty train? My 9 month-old things he’s really big stuff when he sits on his little Baby Bjorn infant potty. Anything that reduces how many loads of diapers I have to wash per week is a good thing!
Okay, proud Mama done bragging.
That’s awesome! We started using our neon green baby bjorn potty at 7 months. It’s been on and off since then. Right now we’re “off”. But, when we’re “on” it’s such a nice change – literally 🙂
NOOOOOOOOO!! really? that’s so great!! are you practicing elimination communication? i’m thoroughly encouraged to give this a go with my one-year-old
Awesome! Hopefully he’ll keep at it.
we’re not “strict” ECers (if there is such a thing!). i simply put him on the potty anytime his sisters have to go, or before a bath, or after a diaper change. when he DOES go, i make a big to-do about it. we’ll see how it goes, i started around age 1 with his sisters, and i dunno if starting earlier with him is going to make a difference, but i know a few friends had their kids diaper free by 15-18 months, so we’re giving it a try!
Wooo! That’s great. Both my older boys took to a potty really fast (well, no2 went straight to the toilet). But boy no.3. is taking a while, so well done to your little one!

That is too cute! Good for him, I only have girls…so I have no idea how to potty train little boys. I do know that my youngest was very hard to get to use the potty! It’s very impressive that your little 9 month old is trying!
