Cold, rainy, miserable weather today.  I was glad I had finished my Evangelines because I sure needed them!Â
I found this pattern via A Friend To Knit With, and stuck it in my stack of “gotta try these” patterns. Recently, while thumbing through the stack to look for baby sweater patterns, I came across it again, and thought they’d make a nice quick little project. They were a quick and easy knit – on size 7s with Lamb’s Pride in “plum” that I had leftover from another project. I did one and a half times the repeats for a length I thought would be more wearable.Â
I felt like I deserved to treat myself after all of the baby shower knitting I’ve been doing lately. They took me about three days, and I would definitely make them again. But for now – back to finishing Christmas presents!
OMG
I want!!!
Mine that i crotheched dont fit very well.
There is no way, my knittin can make those yet.
thanks, trishy. droppin’ subtle hints for christmas gifts? i’ll see what i can whip up. love ya.
Thanks for dropping by my blog! Happy to see a PNWener there (I’ll be one again next summer – oh, happiness!). I’m an aspiring knitter, so am drooling over your creations!! 🙂
Those turned out beautifully!
Okay, I can’t find the pattern from the links on your post. Where is it. I might have to try to make these instead of my boring no-fun-designs ones! Send it to me if you have it.
okay, apparently magknits no longer exists (it’s a shame, because they had great patterns!). i can’t find another source for this pattern. i printed it off back in february, so if anyone would like it, i can photocopy it and mail it to you (or, jeri, give it to you at church).
Oh, I’m in love! I wish I had mad knitting skills, but alas, I can only do stockinette stitch…
Gorgeous! And jealousy b/c I’ve been meaning to knit some of those for myself all year to combat the chill at work!
love these!!
I love those! But, I’m not familiar with magknits.com, is it supposed to be a list of links? HOW do I find the pattern for Evangelines???
